2023 Turlood Equestrian Summer Show

Show day at Turlood Equestrian Centre saw Vivid-Images.com heading down to Lesmahagow for an excellent day out amongst the competitors and their horses at this fabulous facility in Lanarkshire. 2023 Defender Blair Castle International Horse Trials

This weekend saw Vivid-Images.com travel to the 2023 Defender Blair Castle International Horse Trials for a casual wander around this well-organised event. With the camera perched in the hip-holster always at the ready, it wasn't long before it was time to lift and put into action ;-)

Kirkton Cross-Country Event, Doune

Organised by the North Argyll Pony Club, this was a great day out in the sunshine at this well-maintained Cross-Country horse-riding facility located on the outskirts of the town of Doune in Perthshire. Vivid-Images.com was there to capture the riders in action throughout the day.

A journey over to Lettershuna Arena & Stables saw Vivid-Images.com enjoying a day of showjumping led by trainer Nigel Springer in the arena with members of the North Argyll branch of the Pony Club and other participants from around west Highlands. Kilmartin Horse Show

Stone circles, a castle and a museum with a selection of neolithic and bronze age remains would normally be sufficient to entice visitors to the village of Kilmartin in Argyll. On this occasion, however, it was the annual Kilmartin Horse Show that saw Vivid-Images.com venturing out to capture the equestrian eventing at this well-attended event.

Enjoying the beauty of Argyll by bicycle was today's action with competitors accepting the challenge to cycle one of two routes - a 54 or 87 mile pedal throughout the quiet back roads of Scotland's adventure coast and along the banks of Loch Awe. Vivid-Images.com was there to capture the day of the gritted and determined group of cyclists that produced some great photos of competitors from far and wide as well as club members from the hosts, the North Argyll Cycle Club. A great morning of fast action mountain biking around the forest tracks and technical routes through the Sitka spruce, this was a fabulous event that produced some outstanding photos of club members in action.
